森のくまさん／The Other Day I Met A Bear

英語で童謡を歌おう

日本でもおなじみ童謡「森のくまさん」はもともとはアメリカの歌です。英語の歌は、The Other Day I Met A Bearというタイトルで歌われていたり、I Met A Bearというタイトルであったり、BEAR SONG、ONE SUNNY DAYなど歌のタイトルもいろいろな呼ばれ方がされています。この歌は、以前から紹介したかった歌だったのですが、なかなか思い通りの動画が見つかりませんでした。

この森のくまさんの英語バージョンは、ポピュラーな歌で、歌詞がたくさん存在しています。下記は動画の英語歌詞とは少し異なる部分もあるのですが、紹介します。動画の歌詞はこの歌詞がもう少しくだけた表現になっています。「ある日、出会ったクマにあなた鉄砲を持っていないようだからお逃げなさいといわれる」日本語の歌詞とはじまりが似ていますね。
